Welcome to European Soccer Info
Welcome to my website which covers the history of European League and Cup Competitions since 1871.
My purpose is to share my data, which I have been collecting data since the early 80s, with other football statisticians all over the world. All the data have been checked and added by various other sites and books, which are all listed in the section Links & Sources.
The site consists of a chronological part, starting with the first decade of the 19th century, 1871/1872-1879/1880, in which the Cup competitions in England, Scotland and Wales started. Besides the chronological part there will be an overview for each country with all kinds of statistics and a club directory of all clubs involved in domestic league and cup competitions. All data will be published in pdf-format which makes it easy to save and print. In the section Links & Sources, you will find interesting links to other great sites about football.
In time the website should expand to a great archive full of historical facts and data. In fact, visitors of European Soccer Info can contribute to the site, helping me out with data that is still missing or correct data that contains errors.
